<br />
Here is a a really simple card I made for a colleague's birthday recently.<br />
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivTmRF7PU_shKw3qthedTpaUvevSIBEM730HoNSpk3WTlLS04-TP0pDb5dJWkjB_vSw4LOvytpG0d7vpig0pdv0KxM8WjUQuvBgri8wX6HxaptSXA8azpEJFlIhg7PMIYyN0ge4lP-fykx/s640/blogger-image-1845141360.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivTmRF7PU_shKw3qthedTpaUvevSIBEM730HoNSpk3WTlLS04-TP0pDb5dJWkjB_vSw4LOvytpG0d7vpig0pdv0KxM8WjUQuvBgri8wX6HxaptSXA8azpEJFlIhg7PMIYyN0ge4lP-fykx/s640/blogger-image-1845141360.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I started with a 5x5 white square card and layered this with Creative Expressions Raspberry and white card that I had die cut using the fantastic Noble Square dies by Sue Wilson before attaching a square of some paper from my stash (no doubt a freebie from a card magazine).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I cut one of Sue Wilson's pierced flag dies, inked around the edges and stamped my sentiment. The sentiment was coloured using a pro marker.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I cut a couple of the cupcakes from the same paper and decoupaged them to the sentiment panel. Finally the card is finished with some glitter and pink gems.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Hope you like it</div>

<span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 17px;">I started with a 13.5cm white square card blank.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px;"></span><br style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px;" /></span>
<span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 17px;">I embossed a slightly smaller square of Centura Pearl white card with the Creative Expressions Sue Wilson's Large Bed of Roses embossing folder. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px;"><br /></span>
<span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px;">I matted this onto black card and stuck it to the card blank.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px;"></span><br style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px;" /></span>
<span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 17px;">I diecut the largest of the Spellbinders Splendid Circle dies in both, white and black card.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px;" /></span>
<span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 17px;">I cut the borders of the white one so I was just left with the main inner circle and matted this onto the black circle. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px;"></span><br style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px;" /></span>
<span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 17px;">I stamped the White circle with the free Debbie Moore script butterfly in black ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder to give it a bit of a glossy look. </span><br />
<span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 17px;">I then fixed the circle to the main card blank.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px;"></span><br style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px;" /></span>
<span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 17px;">I thought it works well in black and white for a sympathy card, but it would make an equally nice thank your birthday in some brighter colours.</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I would like to enter the card in this week's Allsorts Challenge: <a href="http://allsortschallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2015/07/week-321-add-butterfly.html" target="_blank">add a butterfly</a></span></div>

I would like to enter this into this week's <a href="http://allsortschallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2015/04/week-308-bring-on-bling.html" target="_blank">Bring on the Bling challenge on the Allsorts Challenge Blog </a></div>

<br />
<br />
Quite a simple card to make:<br />
<br />
I inked the edges of a white DL card with Antique Linen distress ink<br />
I matted one of the gorgeous <a href="http://www.craftworkcards.co.uk/" target="_blank">Craftwork Cards Botanical collection</a> papers onto raspberry Creative Expressions Card before adding this to the card blank.<br />
I stamped the sentimement on to white Centura pearl ( also inked with antique linen) and die cut this with the small pierced flag die from Sue Wilson's frames and tag collection.<br />
I also die cut a butterfly from black card<br />
Finally finished the card off with some pink gems, brads and black dazzlers.<br />
<br />
Here are some more cards made from the same paper collection</div>

<div>
I made this card for a childhood friend who's father has passed away recently.<br />
<br /></div>
<div>
I am completely in love with Sue Wilson's Austrian collection and this coordinating stamp from Creative Expressions is just perfect for what I had in mind.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgsf0uuhS57_lyY2G2USexlR7z5IzzrA0r5jpmmTEeS4f_E_uPuyUprK3y6kDxMnPDf7cIKRgRD4giQvWKyv0f9K-KpgmVCVIyx4Fkgvsq6j7-OesvwZGxb0nU6LkuLnwmDiMGmjV6DKFWL/s640/blogger-image--4349421.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgsf0uuhS57_lyY2G2USexlR7z5IzzrA0r5jpmmTEeS4f_E_uPuyUprK3y6kDxMnPDf7cIKRgRD4giQvWKyv0f9K-KpgmVCVIyx4Fkgvsq6j7-OesvwZGxb0nU6LkuLnwmDiMGmjV6DKFWL/s320/blogger-image--4349421.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div>
<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
</div>
</div>
<div>
I run a piece of black card through my Grand Calibur using the Checkerboard embossing folder from Sue Wilson's Pinpoint range and matted this onto my 5x5 Centura pearl card blank.</div>
<div>
The image is the Dandelion Meadow stamp from Creative Expressions . It works perfectly with the larger oval die from the Insbruck set which is part of the Sue Wilson's Austrian die collection.</div>
<div>
The sentiment is part of my stash and was probably a freebie from one of the Card magazines.</div>
<div>
I made the bow using the smaller of Sue Wilson's mosaic bow dies from the Finishing Touches collection. A couple of black gems finished this off nicely.<br />
<br />
By using a different colour scheme, this can be easily adapted for a slightly happier occasion.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I would like to enter this into <a href="http://allsortschallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2014/11/week-286-no-design-papers-allowed.html" target="_blank">Allsorts no design paper allowed challenge</a><br />

<br>
I have also recently been really impressed with the free Christmas themed gifts, the card magazines have been giving away and this card is made using the Bobunny Silver and Gold Collection and stamp set free with issue 127 of Simply Cards & Papercraft<br>
<div>
<br></div>

<br>
<br>
I started with a gold 5 x 5 card blank.<br>
<br>
The vintage Santa was stamped in Cardinal Red Versa Color ink on white and then heat embossed with clear powder. I then inked the background with antique linen distress ink. I fussy cut the image before matting it onto a Spellbinders Splendid Circle die cut from black card.<br>
<br>
This was fixed to a piece of patterned Santa background paper from the Bobunny Silver and Gold Collection which I had matted on black card<br>
<br>
I die cut a bow using the 3D mosaic bow die from the Sue Wilson Finishing Touches Die Collection and decorated this with some red Gem Stones.<br>
<br>
I Am quite pleased with the result and hope you are too. I would love to hear your comments<br>

<br /></div>
Favourite things is this weeks challenge over on the <a href="http://allsortschallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2014/08/week-270-favorite-things.html" target="_blank">Allsorts Challenge Blog</a> and this card is just perfect for it.<br />
I have used all my favourites here - stamping, embossing and colouring in whilst enjoying another favourite of mine - a steaming cup of coffee.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKf0aqjyE6poTJkI3PCEwt344LuLdtX6X-sjvtJNP2kuRdlLe4i9mF9l-vCBANfpM2Jg1473JT2oTp_WoNx7X9kuhcTc9NpZogoDpio88dpaFmWOeHIQtwjXHlDX__8g2K6FjwaodlFhJF/s640/blogger-image-523267356.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKf0aqjyE6poTJkI3PCEwt344LuLdtX6X-sjvtJNP2kuRdlLe4i9mF9l-vCBANfpM2Jg1473JT2oTp_WoNx7X9kuhcTc9NpZogoDpio88dpaFmWOeHIQtwjXHlDX__8g2K6FjwaodlFhJF/s320/blogger-image-523267356.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I started by creating a 5 x 5 inch square card blank from white Centura Pearl card.<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I embossed a smaller white piece of card with the Swiss Dot Darice embossing folder. I inked the embossed card with Victorian Velvet and Antique Linen Distress inks.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I cut a black piece of card using the largest of my Spellbinder Label 4 die and stamped the sentiment from the Justrite Coffee Cup stamp set in clear embossing ink. I heat embossed this with Papermania's Sea Foam white embossing powder. I did the same with the swirl.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I stamped the coffee cup from the same Justrite stamp set in black ink and heat embossed this with clear powder. Before fussy cutting the image, I coloured it using Oatmeal,Denim Blue, Pear Green and Cardinal Red Promarkers. </div>
<div>
I layered it all up and fixed the image with foam tape before finishing it off with a blue gem ( can't have a card without bling)</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Really pleased with the end result, I have been wanting these Justrite stamps ever since I saw Sue Wilson using them a few months ago and finally treated myself to them last week.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Hope you enjoy this too</div>

<br /></div>
Summer has finally arrived and I am loving it.<br />
I just love all the bright and vibrant colours that summer brings, so the Ice Cream Sundae papers that came free with issue 127 of Papercraft Inspiration magazine are just perfect for those summer birthdays.<br />
<br />
I made this card for my older sister who celebrates her birthday on Saturday<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgE4N82t4ILw0hAEK7cLUY8lsxQOcZ1hu76DqUor_kVpkeIkabPO2ICGxd1en891BZodB-ukl_-8tJjR6MGzTi0XgNeVNOi_FXPuyvBuYaMTP69AIPB9rtmG-EB4ZOsfZyWBVrtEAOxtBRM/s640/blogger-image-982410127.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="316" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgE4N82t4ILw0hAEK7cLUY8lsxQOcZ1hu76DqUor_kVpkeIkabPO2ICGxd1en891BZodB-ukl_-8tJjR6MGzTi0XgNeVNOi_FXPuyvBuYaMTP69AIPB9rtmG-EB4ZOsfZyWBVrtEAOxtBRM/s320/blogger-image-982410127.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I started by creating a square card blank using White Centura Pearl Card which I covered with the cherry patterned paper.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I run a smaller pink square through my Grand Calibur using Sheena Douglass fabulous Indian Ornamental Embossing folder.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I matted one of the Ice Cream Sunday Toppers on a white card square that I previously inked with Old Paper Distress Ink.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I die cut the flower from the same pink card as the embossed square using the floral die that was a free gift from Simply Cards & Papercraft mag. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I layered it all up and finished with a blue gem in the centre of the flower and a pink one at the bottom of the flake.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I inked the edge of the card with pink, which unfortunately ended up looking a bit messy, but I still like the end result.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I hope you do too!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I would like to enter the card in the <a href="http://cateredcrop.com/" target="_blank">Summer Lovin' Challenge at cateredcrop </a><span id="goog_609109827"></span><span id="goog_609109828"></span><a href="https://www.blogger.com/"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Thanks for stopping by</div>

<br>
Really enjoyed making my Easter Cards this year with the Somebunny Stamps that were a free gift in a recent Quick Cards Made Easy magazine<br>
<br>
All I used were the stamps, Promarkers, ribbon, card and some leftover Doodlebug paper.<div><br></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhN5BWmKVIgSmuWWrL1RvfteEGHeA7jfhkhJqIptc0nmHq1tmluQ-lma3xWEpvkvOU0TuyiiMksbPrzjmCExBxRmh2_FFmHj5t_YaLFy3pgaw2csfVCbF7O0kx-NMssR4M14WLGl_z8HK85/s640/blogger-image--1871125813.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhN5BWmKVIgSmuWWrL1RvfteEGHeA7jfhkhJqIptc0nmHq1tmluQ-lma3xWEpvkvOU0TuyiiMksbPrzjmCExBxRmh2_FFmHj5t_YaLFy3pgaw2csfVCbF7O0kx-NMssR4M14WLGl_z8HK85/s640/blogger-image--1871125813.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYueE1dCr36x-MjrPsd_-IHbyFzu9IqYfFr4cBsdLEHAa3zEHWDgScym4ScdkiaC6fiK1IWFojM8s-bahSlqeLkktMsscSjDteA2n5L0MzLjW50hFBlisjMcdlQSEGhpVthRfZ36eZA5SO/s640/blogger-image-2107042310.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYueE1dCr36x-MjrPsd_-IHbyFzu9IqYfFr4cBsdLEHAa3zEHWDgScym4ScdkiaC6fiK1IWFojM8s-bahSlqeLkktMsscSjDteA2n5L0MzLjW50hFBlisjMcdlQSEGhpVthRfZ36eZA5SO/s640/blogger-image-2107042310.jpg"></a></div><br><div class="separator" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; clear: both;"><br></div></div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEilVrmlezN8AS1h8znQrkyJ36oSBRuXXLWb65IMwfEWHN6oHazCtVXOS-h2ODZLC1g340exW6jZH7yADUrqX4Sgq_c_NtHZs7eQMNO9dMQzjr2z4PsWJS4aJ6PErNK5YnlNQwTxtn_sQY7c/s640/blogger-image--951692537.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif; margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEilVrmlezN8AS1h8znQrkyJ36oSBRuXXLWb65IMwfEWHN6oHazCtVXOS-h2ODZLC1g340exW6jZH7yADUrqX4Sgq_c_NtHZs7eQMNO9dMQzjr2z4PsWJS4aJ6PErNK5YnlNQwTxtn_sQY7c/s640/blogger-image--951692537.jpg"></a></div><div><br></div><div>Hope you are all having a great weekend. <br>
I would also like to enter this in the <a href="http://allsortschallenge.blogspot.co.uk/" target="_blank">Pretty in Pink challenge on the Allsorts Challenge blo</a>g<div><br></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9l-EM0klk8sZbHAADES6hz8jzqAuBuhDZ2bHn3e5mPH_bnVJClBluw389ZYehba2pV7yoP4w79Hkuyt3i5m67h8eiUS1lE9oNqL0gE0-3-qLxLmdeQ5WHYqsyvtrgT-EeqtXED9rtlbdK/s640/blogger-image-507267794.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9l-EM0klk8sZbHAADES6hz8jzqAuBuhDZ2bHn3e5mPH_bnVJClBluw389ZYehba2pV7yoP4w79Hkuyt3i5m67h8eiUS1lE9oNqL0gE0-3-qLxLmdeQ5WHYqsyvtrgT-EeqtXED9rtlbdK/s640/blogger-image-507267794.jpg"></a></div><br>

Ingredients:<br>
<br>
<ul>
<li>Scalloped card blank</li>
<li>Pink card</li>
<li>Floral Enchantment Hunkydory paper and topper that was a free gift from Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine issue 127</li>
</ul>
<div>
Even though it's a simple "cut and stick"with no skills needed card, I enjoyed working with these papers as they were just what I needed to get me going again after some of the grey and rainy days we had.</div>
<div>
<br></div>
<div>
Hope you enjoy it too</div>

Another quick entry into the Colours Beginning with B challenge at <a href="http://allsortschallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2014/02/week-245-colours-beginning-with-b.html" target="_blank">The Allsorts Challenge Blog</a> as I thought the papers were perfect for this challenge </div>
<div>
<br></div>
<div>
<br></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_hYtRvo2te7yI_DY0u23mxC2UGfOEE0REWZr4kyYDxFs1kEToIq2xrrWAsXXFm1ag8Tj1sn0O34clM01nDNx0c_VMbOyOi8CIDLFaUQ_vcFXJxpCM8QrF9Kss3EwsxBZSgnJz_t4O_mm3/s640/blogger-image--1579778355.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_hYtRvo2te7yI_DY0u23mxC2UGfOEE0REWZr4kyYDxFs1kEToIq2xrrWAsXXFm1ag8Tj1sn0O34clM01nDNx0c_VMbOyOi8CIDLFaUQ_vcFXJxpCM8QrF9Kss3EwsxBZSgnJz_t4O_mm3/s640/blogger-image--1579778355.jpg"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
The image was stamped using the <b>Woodware</b> <b>Patch</b> <b>An</b> <b> Owl </b>stamp set on to white card and coloured with my <b>Tan</b> and <b>Denim</b> <b>Blue</b> <b>Promarkers</b>. This was cut and decoupaged on to some spotty paper I had in my stash ( probably another magazine freebie). The branch is also from the Woodware set.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I inked the edges with the tan promarker before matting in on some stripy papers, I had stuck to a whie square card blank.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I added some blue gemstones to the corners of the dotty papers and a peel off greeting to finish the card</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Have a great day</div>

<div>
<br></div>
<div>
Turns out it is also perfect for this weeks Colours beginning with B challenge over at the <a href="http://allsortschallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2014/02/week-245-colours-beginning-with-b.html" target="_blank">Allsorts challenge blog</a><br>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br></div>
I simply stamped the image on white card, coloured the bear with my Denim Blue and Tan Promarkers.<br>
I then cut the balloon from a patterned paper I had in my stash and added a peel off number.<br>
I stamped the image again and cut off the paw and stuck this on top of the original paw and end of balloon so it looks like the bear is holding the balloon<br>
<br>
I stamped my nephews name with blue denim distress ink and added some matching Bakers Twin.<br>
Before assembling it all on a DL card blank, I inked the edges with distress ink to give it a bit more dimension.<br>
<br>
Hope you like it<br>

<br></div>
Here is another quick card using the <b>Fairy</b> <b>Belle</b> papers that were free in the February edition of <b>Simply</b> <b>Cards</b> & <b>papercraft</b> magazine<br>
<div>
<br></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I am quite pleased with the flower which I made by punching two flowers from white card using my new <b>EK</b> <b>success</b> <b>punch</b>, inked these with <b>Victorian</b> <b>Velvet</b> <b>distress</b> ink , used a cream petal from my stash and also inked this plus a yellow petal. Layered these up and added a blue gem.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I think I should have inked the edges of the papers before assembling, but remembered this too late, maybe next time</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">

Have a lovely day</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Papers and stamps used are from the <b>Fairy</b> <b>Belle</b> <b>Collection</b> that came free with the February edition of <b>Simply</b> <b>Cards</b> & <b>Papercraft</b> mag and are simply gorgeous</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I started by matting a piece of light blue patterned paper on top of a white square card blank. Before sticking it down, I inked the edges with <b>Stormy</b> <b>Sky</b> <b>Distress</b> Ink.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I cut a piece of white card and run it through my <b>Grand</b> <b>Calibur</b> using the <b>Darice</b> Swiss Dot embossing folder and inked the entire piece with Victorian Velvet Distress Ink. I stuck this piece diagonally across the blue patterned paper</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I cut a strip of the flower patterned paper about half the size of the blue one and stuck it in the middle of the card.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I diecut a heart from white paper and inked this with <b>Antique</b> <b>Linen</b> <b>Distress</b> ink and stamped the rose with <b>Victorian</b> <b>Velvet</b> <b>Distress</b> <b>Ink</b> several times around the edge of the heart.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I punched a small heart from white card and inked this with Victorian Velvet Distress Ink and fixed this with 3d foam to the centre of the big heart.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I stamped the Just for You greeted on a piece of white card and heat embossed before inking the card with the Antique Distress ink and currying it out to fix to the topper. The bow is from the <b>Papermania</b> <b>Portobello</b> kit.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I added some pearls to finish and inked the edges of the card blank with the Victorian Velvet Distress ink.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I hope you like it!</div>

I layered this with some pink corrugated card I had in my stash and cut along the pattern to create a wavy boarder</div>
<div>
I stamped the image from the <a href="http://www.ladybugcraftsink.co.uk/" target="_blank">Ladybug Craft Ink</a> <b>Shoes</b> <b>n'bags</b> collection in black on a piece of white card and embossed this with clear powder before colouring the image using my Promarkers. Colours used were black, magenta and oatmeal as well as cool grey </div>
<div>
I diecut the image using Spellbinders Labels 4 and inked around the edges with my Magenta <b>Promarker</b>.</div>
<div>
I fixed a pink ribbon across the middle of the card before creating two ribbon strips fromthe corrugated</div>

Card and matted the image on top.</div>
<div>
The peel off sentiment reads <b>Herzlichen</b> <b>Glückwunsch</b> which means congratulations in German.</div>
<div>
To finish off the card I inked around the edges with the magenta Promarker.</div>

This has certainly given me a lot more confidence in my cards and I am now taking the plunge to enter the <a href="http://allsortschallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2013/06/week-213-lavender-and-lace.html" target="_blank">Lavender and Lace</a> card making challenge over on the Allsorts challenge blog. Just hope I have linked it all correctly ( I am not the most technical person....) <br>

A sentiment that can be applied to so many occasions...<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhq40CcGXrzuFWivdDQ1ynY-weQ2oS-wdviyEg9oB-o7oLDOsZzTHhx6ojUGhTaxM0EWszpHcbFrl62zUhQcR6TnTVlQGMzX0vVvCWM3eO9rVFdZG24TYhwdcaUSH09mg-9ATm4WU5q_dsq/s1600/blogger-image--734394131.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="234" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhq40CcGXrzuFWivdDQ1ynY-weQ2oS-wdviyEg9oB-o7oLDOsZzTHhx6ojUGhTaxM0EWszpHcbFrl62zUhQcR6TnTVlQGMzX0vVvCWM3eO9rVFdZG24TYhwdcaUSH09mg-9ATm4WU5q_dsq/s320/blogger-image--734394131.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
This one I started with punching a border along the right side of my card blank using the Martha Stewart Doily Lace punch and inked the edges of the card using Tim Holtz Antique Linen distress ink.</div>
<div>
I then cut a slightly smaller piece of black card, punched it using the same Martha Stewart punch and layered this with one of the beautiful Teresa Collins Fabrications papers that came free with the May issue of Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine. I attached this to the card blank leaving a small border.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I die cut a Spellbinder label 4 from black card and a slightly smaller one from white card. I inked the white one with the same distress ink as the edges of the card blank</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I added one of the matching Teresa Collins chipboard sentiments and added some black Kaisercraft gems to make the sentiment stand out a bit more before fixing this to to the main card on a top a black card strip</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I die cut a butterfly from black card, added a lighter Kaisercraft gem to its middle and attached the butterfly to the top right of the card.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
All in all, quite an easy but I think effective card, what do you think ?</div>

<br>
As today is the 60th anniversary of the Queen's Coronation, I thought it was quite fitting to showcase the card I made using the wonderful and patriotic <b>Papermania</b> <b>Portobello</b> <b>Road</b> kit. The card is for a German friend of mine who loves all things London, so I couldn't have found a more perfect set of stamps.<div><div>
<br>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-2cu6b7yIVnw/Ua2wY3F38uI/AAAAAAAAAB0/FpvxEJzC1xI/s1600/2013+-+1" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-2cu6b7yIVnw/Ua2wY3F38uI/AAAAAAAAAB0/FpvxEJzC1xI/s320/2013+-+1" width="320"></a></div>
<br>
<br>
I started by embossing a piece of white card with the Papermania Portobello Road Union Jack Tribossing folder, which I then inked with some Antique Linen distress ink.<br>
<br>
I stamped the London Bus, Taxi, postbox, phone box in black on white card and used clear powder to heat emboss the outlines, I coloured the images using Cardinal Red, cool Grey & black Promarkers. Before cutting them I inked any white spaces with the antique linen distress ink.<br>
I stamped Big Ben and inked this with gold ink and again cut it out.<br>
All stamps are from the Portobello Road set.<br>
I arranged all cut out pieces on the left side of the embossed Union Jack and stuck them down using my trusted tape pen.<br>
I stamped one of the birthday sentiments (also from the Portobello Road set) in black, heat embossed with clear powder and fixed it to the top of the card adding a sparkling gem to the top of the crown.<br>
<br>
I was looking through my stash and came across the "queen for the day" stamp which was a freebie in " Quick Cards Made Easy"magazine last year. I coloured the "queen" in red using Promarkers, inked the back ground with Antique Linen and added some gems to the crown before adding it to the panel.<br>
<br>
I previously stuck the blue dotty paper from the Portobello kit to a card blank and stuck my Union Jack panel on top.<br>
I finished the card with a Union Jack bow and added another gem to the middle.<br>
<br>
I am pretty pleased with the result and hope my friend likes it !<br>
<br>
Have a fab day everyone<br>

A came across the "Joy fold card " project in the May issue (113) of "Quick Cards made easy" and decided to give it a go. So here is the result:<br />
<br />
I started with a piece of 21 x 14 cm white card, scored and folded this at 7cm from the right edge to create a flap that comes half way across the card.<br />
<br />
I matted the inside square with a piece of 13 x 13 cm red card and the outside flap with a piece of 6 x 13 cm of the same red card<br />
<br />
I added some red spotty paper measuring 12 x 12 cm to the inside and a piece of 5 x 12 cm matching patterned paper. The paper I had in my stash ( probably a freebie from another magazine, as I am rather addicted to them)<br />
<br />
Using the largest of my Spellbinder labels 4 dies, I created a small card blank using my Grand Calibur<br />
<br />
I die cut a smaller labels 4 in red card and another smaller one in white. <br />
I inked the edges of the card blank with a red Promarker and stamped the "lets Celebrate" sentiment from the Papermania Portobello Road set on the smaller white label.<br />
<br />
I glued everything together and fixed the mini card to the middle of the square panel.<br />
<br />
I added a red flower embellishment to finish.<br />
<br />
Thanks for stopping by<br />

<br />
For most people a wedding is the beginning of a new chapter in their lives, so I thought there is no better way to get started than sharing my latest crafting creation - a card I made for one of my colleagues' wedding <br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator"style="clear: both; <br />
<br />
text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbfDGwwpgfvgBQHXVjFmEPXWEbPZfnOvZnD1o-tW8fu1o_hMFIoXiaYwFZBDJCsX0v5sb9yIwNuHEHhxfkbAr-Ftt_i2q7ha3gqYXKey9vi6mzJknxvMbQH3XkuL9RSbAewsFQSy0yDmnI/s640/blogger-image--1072036888.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbfDGwwpgfvgBQHXVjFmEPXWEbPZfnOvZnD1o-tW8fu1o_hMFIoXiaYwFZBDJCsX0v5sb9yIwNuHEHhxfkbAr-Ftt_i2q7ha3gqYXKey9vi6mzJknxvMbQH3XkuL9RSbAewsFQSy0yDmnI/s640/blogger-image--1072036888.jpg" /></a></div><br />
<br />
I started by embossing some white Centura Pearl card with a pretty spring embossing folder (the folder was a free gift in one of the card magazines a couple of months ago)<br />
I then cut the embossed card in 3 equal size (4x13cm) panels. <br />
Using my tape pen, I stuck the panels evenly spaced on a piece of white Satin ribbon before glueing them to a white scallop shaped card blank <br />
Using my Grand Calibur I die cut 2 hearts using the Spellbinder Vines of Passion dies from matt silver card<br />
Before arranging the hearts on top of the embossed card panels, I decorated them with some Papermania Adhesive Shimmer Dots<br />
To balance the card, I decorated the ribbon with a bow to the left and some more shimmer dots to the right<br />
<br />
I hope you like the card and would like to invite you to leave me a comment and some feedback on my very first blog entry! <br />
Love<br />
